What
is the Multicultural Engineering Program
About?
In 1974, the Council of Partners
Advisory Board was formed and consisted
of industrial partners who were
committed to providing academic support
to underprivileged minority students;
such as Native American,
African-American, and Hispanic-American
students majoring in engineering,
architecture, and technology. Today, the
program offers academic counseling,
scholarships, tutoring, mentoring,
industry tours and contacts for
internship opportunities. The program
continues to grow, now serving 379
minority students. “We are dedicated to
increasing the number of minority
engineering graduates at Oklahoma State
University.”
