Welcome to the Multicultural Engineering Program from the College of Engineering, Architecture, and Technology.

Mission Statement:

It is our mission to increase the participation of engineering students from multicultural backgrounds through a caring, informative and supportive environment utilizing a comprehensive set of programming activities.

Objectives:

• Encourage multicultural enrollment in the College of Engineering, Architecture, and Technology
• Provide as supportive environment for each student's academic success
• Facilitate positive interaction between faculty and students
• Nurture confidence and leadership potential in every multicultural student
• Offer students opportunities to communicate with industry and alumni

Today, the program offers academic counseling, scholarships, tutoring, mentoring, industry tours and contacts for internships opportunities.  The Program continues to grow, now serving more than 375 minority students.
